Thinking Outside the Box with Custom Self Mailer + Data + Google Map Platform!
ColorArt's client, one of the world’s largest financial services/credit card companies, has partnerships with several national retailers and consumer businesses. They consistently look for opportunities to incentivize retailers to promote their credit card products. The client wanted to develop a direct mail product for a national retail chain, with the goal of driving more foot traffic into local stores and using their credit card for purchases. The control package that was used to establish a performance baseline as a locally produced flyer, and was unable to provide any meaningful ROI results.
ColorArt created a visually compelling 2-panel self-mailer. The self-mailer included the incentive of a one-day percentage-off pass if the consumer visited the store and showed the coupon at check-out. The direct mail package was addressed to the consumer, and included the address and information about the retail location closest to the recipients’ home address. ColorArt sorted the data and used the google map platform to create closest retail location to the consumer.
The direct mail promotion resulted in a significant increase in foot traffic to stores that participated in the campaign and greater shopping activity.
